A born entrepreneur, Vickie created a variety of business start-ups including the restaurant and bar business, indoor and outdoor movie theaters, housing rental properties, and her most recent being a property-owned building built by her and her husband in Reno, Nevada to house their joint venture of a beauty salon and medical spa.

Since the recent sale of the beauty salon and medical spa, she has turned her efforts to writing.  She has written many articles regarding what she calls “the best kept secret of the salon and spa industry” and is well respected in her community as a leader of that industry.
